Would you like some time out in the peace and tranquillity of the Spanish countryside? Taking life at a leisurely pace and really enjoying your surroundings? Why not join us?. We are offering We are offering walking holidays with small women-only groups in two centres in Andalucia; Las Alpujarras and La Sierra de Aracena in Southern Spain. Our idea is to get together with some like minded people and not only enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and the walks, but the friendly company and good food too.
Our new location for 2005 is in the Sierra de Aracena, north of Sevilla and close to the border with Portugal. This will be a two centre holiday staying in both Galaroza and Alajar. The walking in the Sierra de Aracena is much gentler than Las Alpujarras for, although there are plenty of ups and downs, there are no mountains! Want to know more? Walking in Las Alpujarras is still a great favourite. We have chosen this area because of its stunning location on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada. It is an area of steep terraced valleys, extensively irrigated by acequia systems built by the Moors who made this their home between the 11th and 16th cenruries.
