The cottage is heated with electric radiators in Winter. Electric fans are available for Summer. Private parking space included. Please note that the staircase is open sided and may not be suitable for children under 6 years old.

High quality cottage style kitchen with ample worktop space. Electric oven. 4 hobs gas/electric. Microwave. Fridge Freezer and a full range of kitchen equipment including electric kettle & toaster etc. Door to shaded breakfast terrace.

Utility Room:

Separate utility room with washing machine and ironing facilities. Containing sunbeds.

Dining Room:

Dining Room seats 6 in comfort. High chair available on request.

Living Room:

Lounge with comfortable sofa and armchair. Double doors opening onto the front terrace. Satellite TV with English channels. Music system with CD/tape/radio. Cosy wood burner. Fire wood, chopped, stacked in shed ready for your use.

The front door and lounge open onto a sunny terrace with seating, loungers & BBQ. Next to this is a private parking space. The cottage is one of very few in the tiny hamlet with hilly countryside all around.

There are 3 terraces, one featuring a lemon tree, furnished with Moroccan mosaic tables, comfortable wicker furniture and sun loungers.

Car hire essential, advice offered.
The main road to Riogordo, Velez-Malaga and the Coast is only 3 minutes away.

There is an information pack which can be found in the living room along with Spanish guide books. The information book contains leaflets about local and major attractions, restaurants, bars, markets and fiestas in and around Andalucia . There is also information on water parks , horse shows, horse racing ,crocodile park, Tivoli World fair ground, boat rides, fishing trips and many more.

Locally you can go horse riding or swim at the local open air pools. There are many miles of walking tracks and bird watching is another possibility.

Casa Rosa is well situated for exploring Andalucia. Granada with the Moorish Alhambra Palace, and the Sierra Nevada is great if you want a days skiing.

Seville which is famous for its amazing cathedral and horse drawn carriages .All these are around 2 hours drive away.

Antequerra features dolmens and ancient buildings with El Torcal national park close by. Well worth a visit especially if you have children with you.

Malaga city has the Picasso museum. Corte Ingles can also be found in Malaga along with a great selection of shops, bars ,restaurants, theatre and live bands.

In Nerja you can visit the famous caves, relax on the beach, or take a stroll on the Balcon de Europa,with fantastic views of the Mediterranean .

Velez-Malaga has all the facilities of a major town. Including large shopping centre with multi screen cinema, street market on Thursday morning. The main hospital is found here in Velez -Malaga. Torre Del Mar has the closest beach and golf course and to keep the kids amused there are go kart tracks and boat trips from Caleta marina.
